Our first full length album, "A List of Our Worries". Recorded over a decade ago, this low-fi album chronicles the efforts of the first Golden Alphabet band. Recorded in a living room in Tucson, Arizona. Far from perfect, this album is a great example of what Golden Alphabet was all about back in the pre-2010 days.

lyrics
Well, lately I’ve been staring at the mountains.
Pretending that they are, in fact, huge waves
Moving slowly to cover up our valley.
Constant threat to make sure we behave.
And I’ve been buying into salesmanship.
“Good job! You know, you’re really doing well.”
I wonder how long Humpty Dumpty sat there.
I wonder how long before he fell.
So they make their way below the torn up sky.
Too thin, they tease us of most interesting rain.
Too many folks.
Too many folks.
Too many folks around here.
So if you have to fight a war to kill those feelings.
If the dark whiskey really ails your pain…
Your depression: it doesn’t impress me.
Impress to me that we were not brought up the same.
So fight it fast or simply succumb to fear.
Come home and tell me stories you know I’ve been longing to hear.
Too many folks.
Too many folks.
Too many folks around here.
